About ALLR

ALLR is a price-comparison engine for motorcycle gear. We track helmets, jackets, suits, boots, gloves and protection across 50+ retailers and rank them by what the gear will actually cost to land on your doorstep in Canada, the US, the EU or the UK.

The problem we solve

The cheapest sticker price is rarely the cheapest purchase. A jacket listed for less in another country can cost more once shipping, import duty, and tax are added — and a price quoted without VAT can look like a deal until checkout proves otherwise. Riders shopping across borders end up comparing numbers that aren't comparable.

How the ranking works

For every product we compute landed cost — the all-in price you'd pay for your country: item price + shipping + import duty + applicable VAT, converted to your currency. The retailer with the lowest landed cost for your region goes to the top. We do not reorder results based on what a retailer pays us — today none of them pays us anything — and the cheapest true cost would win either way.

Where the data comes from

Prices, sizes and stock are pulled automatically from each retailer's own website and refreshed on a regular schedule. We merge listings of the same product across stores into one canonical entry — matching colourways and normalising sizes between EU and US systems — so a single helmet shows you every retailer carrying it instead of a dozen near-duplicate pages. The retailer's own checkout is always the final source of truth on price and availability; automated data can lag or be wrong, and we say so plainly.

How we make money

ALLR is free to use, and right now it earns almost nothing. Outbound "Buy" links are not affiliate links — we are not in any affiliate network, so no retailer pays us when you buy. The optional Pro subscription is the site's only revenue; the rest comes out of pocket. Affiliate programmes are the intended model and we expect to join one eventually — when we do, we will say so before it takes effect, and it still will not change where a retailer ranks.
